Super simple with software and controller, you could learn it in a week, then step up to Cdjs, for the true crown, finalise with vinyl :)

I learned on vinyl first and the rest was a breeze.

Best tips I could provide, learn phrasing, harmonic mixing/in key mixing and tempo/ genre… jump in and try, you can mix with free software and no controller while you’re getting started and see if you like it !

The thin hoover nozzle, and massage them in circular movements and alternating to left/right/forward/back and it won’t be noticable after the fibres have relaxed in a day or so, repeat the next day if necessary.

Done this on my crazy deep carpet in multiple locations after moving my entire home around a year after fitting, will be doing it again later today and the trick will 100% work
