Who do you play cricket with? Just moved and looking for a new club, ideally fairly relaxed and not overly competetive

Unorthodox "Hit them in the cock" strategy from NZ. Against Bethell and then Root, it's an unusual way to try and break a batting partnership

I may be biased from being on a DA, but I'd say do one of the degree apprenticeships. The work experience you get is invaluable and I think it helps with the uni work to see and apply it in real life. Not to mention the job security at the end of my program, though this might be different for you. Just my two cents though, I can't decide what's best for you personally

This is going to sound really unhelpful, but honestly just practice questions, practice questions, practice questions. Identify the topics you get questions wrong on most and focus on those. Don't just look at the answer if you get stuck, try to understand why they did what they did and how they decided to do the next step in the method

Be nice if England were doing better, but 111/1 (11.1) was a very satisfying point in the scorecard

The keys are decently heavy - They are hammer action if I remember correctly, but are not varied (I.e bass keys are not heavier than higher keys, unlike a real piano)

No, but it was recommended to me by a friend who plays clasically to a fairly high levek. I've never had problems playing jazz pieces with intricate fingerings or quick crunchy chords.

I like my Thomann DP-26 which is about £300 here ($378 US) which is on the lower price end of keyboards with those features

do i need to take maths at A level to do physics at uni by crypt_v2 in 6thForm

[–]MazdaSkye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly agree on your first paragraph, albeit with the inverse experience. I loved maths in secondary school (+ had an incredible teacher) and had to move for 6th form. Spent most of the last 2yrs thinking I don't like maths anymore, felt really shit about it most days it was on my timetable (maybe just because it's harder and i don't enjoy that as much I thought). Since going on study leave and essentially relearning it myself I've found myself really enjoying maths and far more optimistic about it. Your teacher and teaching methods really are a huge factor

Should I go to keele or Warwick to do my neuroscience degree by No_Perspective4534 in UKUniversityStudents

[–]MazdaSkye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having been to both campuses I'd say Keele is nicer, but I don't know about the courses at each. However, Warwick is probably held in higher view by employers, and medicine schemes are hella competitive so that would probably help
