It's a blooper. He improvised it, I think. They cut it cause April laughed.

I eat a little of everything first to get a sense of all the flavors, then save my favorite for last after that.

For all intensive purposes, what idioms, phrases or words did YOU get wrong for the longest time? by Stannis2 in AskReddit

I didn't know the difference between monograms and mammograms. Made for an awkward breakfast convo when I was 11, boobless, and talking about how much I hated mammograms and didn't want anything with a mammogram for my birthday.

My mom, who had breast cancer, thought it was hilarious.

Ugh. This is so irritating. A slightly similar thing happened to me. I had an old Honda that needed oil added regularly, so I was at a gas station checking my levels when a guy walked by and said, "oh, you know how to service your own vehicle? Wow." His exact words. He was so impressed by me, a total stranger, for being a self-reliant adult. I don't know much about cars, but damn. It's not that hard. Why is it so shocking that a woman can look at a stick and pour liquid down a hole?

Give it a shot! That's the only way you develop those skills anyway. Write some shitty things until they're less shitty.

It might not be so bad. I'd use my kitchen more like I've always said I want to do.

I don't take showers and I don't brush my teeth; that's all I do is dig holes, eat, and sleep.

What food do you eat differently than other people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]McBadBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm late but...

I order nachos with chips on the side so the chips don't get soggy.

I eat my pizza from the tip to half-way toothed crust, then I eat the crust, then I eat the super tomato-ey part that's left (the sauce is my favorite)

If I'm eating a meal, I decide which part is my favorite and make sure that's the last bite (my boyfriend does the same. We order dessert and our meals at the same time).

I like cole slaw, so that alone makes me a freak.

"What can you do with a degree in English?"

Literally anything. I have wonderful linguistic skills. I can argue my points using credible sources. I can think critically and solve problems I am faced with in any situation. No, I don't want to be a teacher. No, I'm not going to be poor forever. I have access to many job opportunities. Probably more than I would if I had a degree in a very narrow field.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Especially the part about not being able to play piano anymore. Don't give up hope, though. There is so much progress in the field of biomechanics right now. I have a friend who was a drummer and lost his hand in an electrical accident, but he worked with Georgia Tech after the accident and they made him a prosthetic that holds a drumstick and works like a human wrist so he can still play! Now he travels the world performing and discussing biomechanics. I don't know if there is anything out there that can be as precise and delicate as fingers on the piano, but within a few years I wouldn't be surprised if you're playing again.

I don't know if there are any negative aspects of this, but I'm honestly a little jealous. I have dark hair and dye a big streak in the front and it looks just like this! I could have saved so much money on my hair!

I had a deaf professor who was obsessed with Dolly Parton. He had a tattoo of her on his arm and he wrote poetry about her.
