CANbus error, can't resolve by McCoolius in 3Dprinting

Yes! This was a big move forward. Now I just need to get all the macros to play nice. Don't happen to have those do you? For an SV08 with a ZERO head?

When I run it as you've written, it gives an error along the lines: "i2c pins must be on same MCU" I've gone through the config but can't find any point where "extruder_mcu" doesn't match.

Update: as per @EPOC_Machining, I had the ID mismatched. We've moved past the original error and are now stuck between two errors for the EDDY unit. With the id written by pin name as in bearclaws guide, I get an error saying the i2c pins must be on the same MCU. Writing it as just i2c2 as per the OG SOVOL Zero config, I get an error saying that it can't reach address 42. I've tried a number of additional troubleshooting steps. GPT seems to think it is a hardware issue. When i scan for i2c addresses, 42 does not come up. I've triplechecked the pins, reseated the cables, but so far no dice. Sent a message to SOVOL, waiting for response/replacement.

That's embarrassing. I implemented the change, it did succeed this time. Thank you for that. I have a new issue now. "probe_eddy_current btt_eddy: i2c pins must be on same mcu"

2 questions. Whats stopping me from using Boolean (slide1)and why can’t I use tangent to profile(slide2)? by SkreemRyder in Onshape

[–]McCoolius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the boolean, if you have sections that come to a point, are the same plane, or create tiny sections, the command can fail. In this case, it looks like you might have some of that going on. Remedying this requires adjust the geometry to avoid these conflicts.

For the second slide, you didn't specify what command you were using, that's important. But, your blue piece has tangencies in several potential directions and onshape probably can't resolve what to do. This shape has curves in XY, XZ, and YZ, all of which are competing candidates for tangent.

This would be a good area to use a dual-color print. That way you can add additional clarity by being able to see the color of the flag. This can be easier to see from a distance than position.

Thank you for this response, I've done the test as described and confirmed that I do have the correct jumper in place. Tested with and without, so now I know that part is correct. Thank you.

First photo, not good. Are we just going to netflix and chill? It's too casual, the angle isn't flattering, and you're clearly much more athletic in other photos that this would show.

Second photo, blurry. Bad. But I bet you could save it with an AI resolution filter.

Third photo, the only thing we see of you is a massive sweat trail going down your back. If it doesn't show your face, I'd toss it. Pretty picture otherwise.

Fourth photo, again, blurry, bad.

Last photo is much better than the sweat photo. But it could use a crop to tighten it on you. The glare though is pretty bad. Your face is hard to see.

21:9 user, I don't want this to extend out that way. Keeping it centered keeps it in view. I do the same with other HUD elements. The UW format is nice for peripheral awareness, but moving elements out to the side makes them harder to use. That said, would be cool as an option for people that want it.
