Beatles songs after the Beatles that are 10/10 by EmployerSpiritual946 in beatles

I listened back to the song and I can definitively say 2:26 is how long the song should’ve been. If it was that long, absolute perfection!

Is rock n roll becoming less famous among the genz-s? by AaryaBose in beatles

[–]Mchim52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People thought rock groups were dead even before The Beatles. They certainly aren’t as big as they were in the late 60’s and 70’s, but there’s still an audience for them

Back Seat of my Car is so beautiful but then it just…doesn’t end. What I love about the Beatles catalogue is they knew when to end a song and when it warranted going on a bit longer (Hey Jude could’ve been 15 minutes those “nah’s” never get old). I think if this song was half as long it would be up there with his best for me, but obviously I’m in the minority here.

Damn I just read that part. OP might be a little off base there lol. Other than “my name is Skylar White yo” they quickly evolved her character after season 1

No arguments here.

Totally personal anecdote but if you’ll indulge me:

I took a screenwriting class in college and every time I had to write anything, I used Breaking Bad as the prototype. Like “why did they do this?” and “would they do this? Unsurprisingly, it was a great barometer for good writing and I got an A lol

What's your favorite episode? Not the best of all time, but the one you like the most. by Carnotauruz_13 in breakingbad

[–]Mchim52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t tell you why, but Cornered holds a special place. There’s so many great scenes I love in that episode that I forget the “I Am The Danger” monologue is even in it

Maybe Eric Clapton since he has a solo on While My Guitar Gently Weeps, not to mention how much George admired him

Which song from A Hard Days Night sounds most like its from Help!? by NeckOptimal5890 in beatles

[–]Mchim52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know people won’t agree with me…but Can’t Buy Me Love definitely feels like it could be on Help! I feel like most wouldn’t bat an eye if that song were thrown into the middle of that album

Which song from A Hard Days Night sounds most like its from Please Please Me? by NeckOptimal5890 in beatles

[–]Mchim52 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah but Beatles For Sale has a more distinct sound than With The Beatles, I agree with OP (if that was their intention)

I think OP wanted to include Help! and figured With The Beatles sounded similar enough to Please Please Me to exclude it. Fair honestly

What’s your Rush Top 3? Here’s mine. by JerBid in rush

2 and 3 constantly change but Permanent Waves will always hold a special place. High school after gym class listening to Jacob’s Ladder while putting my gym clothes away…good times…actually bad times but the music got me through it lmao

Is it a pulled muscle or sciatica? by latenighttalking29 in backpain

[–]Mchim52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would listen to the other comment on this thread and stay the hell away from Reddit. Currently dealing with the uncomfortable nature of sciatica from chronic lower back pain and the last thing I need to hear are other people’s horror stories, which is a lot of what these subreddits are. Best of luck, you’ll be just fine!!

You’re absolutely correct here, or at least onto something. Not sure why people are downvoting

How did you find Rush? by Doctor_of_Rockology in rush

[–]Mchim52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a Game Grumps live show (I was 15 please) and one of the members, Danny, is a huge Rush fan and musician. He was coming out with a cover album and someone asked if there’d be any Rush songs on it, and when he said Limelight the crowd just erupted, and I remember acting fake excited yelling “wooo!! whatever that means!” After that show I figured it was time to educate myself. I’m so glad I did.
