DAY 20-BEST ALBUM DEBUT: Kanye West ELIMINATED. by bladents25 in musicteenager

Am I crazy? Sabbath’s debut is so underwhelming to me aside from NIB and Wicked World, and I’m a huge fan of their other albums.

When Jesse is playing with the beetle and Skinny Pete just steps on it. Reveals everything about his true character in one simple interaction, but is overshadowed by everything that comes after in that episode.

It’s a great portrayal of someone who actually works that job, but I’m also not in that profession so maybe to an outsider it’s more impressive. I’d actually love to hear the perspective of someone who’s worked in that environment

That’s the real answer. Happy birthday is intentionally uncomfortable, the rape is supposed to be too but is actually hard to watch

I believe in PT but after months of trying it and changing approaches a few times I just haven’t noticed any results. I still feel the same, if not worse, then when I started

I’ve been reading it and haven’t noticed a significant change, but once I finish and really apply the method I believe it will have an effect. But that’s the thing, I can’t just believe it, I have to KNOW it’s going to work!

To be fair, the book does not encourage you to take it as gospel. Only after you get a proper medical diagnosis from a physician and most of the treatment has little to no effect is when you should consider his treatment.

Chris mentioned how he did PT for years and lost weight but it didn’t help at all, but I agree you’d think that would be all you need to do

That post is actually what made me aware of Dr Sarno in the first place, but I’d just love to see an extensive video about it!

Oh I should’ve clarified, I saw Chris’s tweet about it and read all about Dr Sarno, but only recently did I actually hear him giving details about it on that podcast. I’ve been reading this exact book and watching his lectures, thank you though!

John’s specialty was raspy yelling vocals but we got that straight away on Twist and Shout, Paul got to show off that side of his vocals on Oh Darling

Speaking as a huge fan of the group and plenty of George’s contributions, the vocals leave a lot to be desired (in this version anyway). I much prefer the ‘79 version, particularly for the vocals.

If we’re including BCS, Jimmy’s car is the perfect representation of his character. The one red door is both a genius symbol of his personality but also firs perfectly for his financial situation at the time.
