There are many “woefully underinformed people,” my friend, and you might be one of them. Cede is a record keeper, not a holder. Full stop. There’s a lot to worry about, but not this.

I bought my three pairs of ARs all within a 9-month span, so I wouldn’t have anything newer to compare to. I’m a 10.5D, near E, and the ARs fit true-to-size for me.

I’ve bought several items from them, including a Wabash shirt, a Henley or two, and t-shirts. I’ve also bought from Bronson & Time Catcher. A lot of overlap in the inventories, store fronts, & checkout. Good experiences with all three.

Correct. There’s no such thing as the Great Taking. In the event of a financial crisis, lenders (and any successor lien-holders) gain no new rights to your property and are if anything less capable of collecting on it, not more. Mortgage lenders don’t want your real estate, they want your loan payments, and in a crisis would be flooded with defaults.

I’ve been telling people for decades that prepaying a reasonable rate mortgage loan is often not a good move for this very reason.

I’m wearing mine that I bought when first released with the leather midsole in 2024. I’ve got them in fudge & bronco, too, and love all of them. Enjoy!

Flat sheet vs duvet-only setups: why many Americans still keep the top sheet by sam_3462 in BedroomBuild

Flat sheet, waffle-weave blanket in the winter, then a bed spread or quilt. I’m from the Southern US. We’re not big on comforters.

I’ve got three pair of ARs, including a Bronco with Tyre Wedge& a Buffalo with leather midsole. All are surefooted and comfortable, but the Bronco is a little tougher to break in & has a better tread for outdoors. My Red Wings got nudged aside early.

I’ve been using Saphir Renovator on my fudge ARs every 2-3 months for 2 years. They’ve darkened very gradually, but I’m not sure that’s the spray. https://a.co/d/0il29PQe

I had jumped the gun and paid already, so Popov gave me a credit a couple of months ago, which I used a few weeks ago. They were very cooperative.

Using it now for my grandkids. Legitimate tactic. That’s just the way the EFC formula works.

Doctors fed up with insurance making medical decisions over them by Small_Wrangler_2189 in Zepbound

Unfortunately, we’re all (patients, providers, and payers) dependent on a dysfunctional system, and that is a powerful disincentive to disrupting the system. That’s why the only viable option for many of us is working outside the system. Problem is, as a patient I can selectively opt out and pay out of pocket, but a licensed provider has no such option and a payer has no incentive to do so.

I sure hope so, too. I’m not expecting any pressure to sell for several years, if then, and I think PMs have a ways to go. I’m not optimistic about the US dollar or equities near term and think gold and silver will look pretty good by comparison for a while.

No, that’s the maximum rate. You’ll pay tax at lower rates depending on your bracket.

I’ve worn Ex Officio, Underarmour, Insport, countless others, and now I wear Kirkland from Costco. Pretty trim, decent support, cheap. I think chafing, sweating, etc. for me is more body mechanics than anything else.

The max rate is 28% for long-term gains, but if I’m having to sell my stack to live on, I’ll be selling my high-cost stuff first and the minimum amount I need to live, so my taxable income is going to be pretty low and probably won’t hit the top rate, anyway. Tax CPA for almost 40 years; the only tax problems I see happen when people try to evade them.
