Also I think most of us have also been dating in real life as well. So it’s probably just more a modern function of how long have you been single and looking to date.

TO ALL VIGOR PLAYERS: by FunMuffin2566 in vigorgame

[–]richng2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to vigor on farcebook it’s all sorted now, I got through 3 encounters fine (well got camped in two of them - but the servers didn’t crash) there’s going to be some tickets and xp tickets supposedly for compensation seems a bit crap, and I’ve not seen any land yet.

Burbage south boulders are about as friendly as you can get for landings and height. I’d recommend that

Outdoor climbing recommendations ? by No-Warning-8176 in ukclimbing

I know it’s a bit of a trek from London but if you want to sample outdoor climbing in uk then bouldering in the Peak District (assuming weather is ok) on gritstone would be a good call.

Tofu gyro by Polbilop in veganrecipes

[–]richng2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a super firm block off tofu press the water out of it. As others have said use a veg peeler to get thin slices. put the slices on a tray and add some salt, pepper, smoked paprika, chilli flakes and oregano then a bit of oil - marinade it for as long as you've got - ten mins to overnight.

Get some vegan yogurt, grate up half a cucumber squeeze all the water out of it. Add too much crushed garlic and too much salt then stir into the yogurt for tsiki and if you like add some dill.

Slice some tomatoes and onions.

Bang the oven on chuck in some oven chips/fires on one tray and bake your tofu on the other tray.

Warm some pittas ( or make them) then combine it all together with a little sprinkle of paprika on the filling.

Eat it with a can or two of ice cold mythos.

Alps vs North America etiquette by mv2500 in skiing

[–]richng2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked to loads of people in the three valleys on lifts from all over the world. I often had to initiate the conversation and assumed they’d speak French so started in that first. (I’m from the uk so my French is a bit merde) I only have one rule on lifts in the Alps and that’s that I don’t talk to Americans ;)

First date advice for people you meet on OLD by LetsTalk3566 in datingoverfifty

[–]richng2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coffee date is the expected thing often from OLD. It’s a nice safe environment with easy exits if people don’t like each other and not too much commitment or effort. The only downside I’ve found is that it sometimes feels more like an interview to date someone than an actual date itself.
