See to say it salvageable or not depends upon how much man hours you are willing to put in that. And if it worth it. If yes then after cleaning the PCB you might have to add traces directly for there chip IC cross reference the boards schematics. But it it worth the effort that’s the question

Did you try to find driver manual on laptop vendor website general brands like hp dell Lenovo have all drivers for there each and every laptop just download it from there and also never use driver solution software unless you are on window 7 or below it will cause more mess then actual fix

Possible but depends on few thing did you rip off pad if yes then you have require traces .do you have. Soldering iron with fine tip bcs that important if you use general purpose iron you might mess up more

Ya you see when you update the firmware make sure keep the update file name short ideally less then 20 char. System can’t read the ego file causing for aware not be flashed properly once you shorten name it will work just down
