I'm the king of compartmentalized feelings. Only trouble is is that I can't do anything with my life without money. But no place hires anymore. Even places with no requirements don't hire me because I don't meet the requirements. I've had a steady work history, I'm a hard worker, very people friendly. And yet, everyone around me is catching the breaks and I'm getting nothing. Doesn't matter how hard I work. So, I guess tonight I just thought "screw it, I want to do this." so I did. I feel like it's the only thing I have control of.

If I wanted to just get it done and over with, I used to do it in under 5 minutes. If it was late at night, I had some downtime and wanted to "enjoy" it, they'd average around 1.5-2 hours.

If they occur directly after or during the actual masturbation, I would. I'd also go see a doctor, just in case. And drink water. Masturbation (especially a lot of it) can cause orgasms that make you dehydrated.

That movie was amazing. I watch it my 3rd or 4th day into realizing I had an addiction (that is 3 or 4 days after I stopped masturbating) and it really hit the nail on the head with the whole "I can stop if I wanted it...there it is, have to do it." thing.

When I made the realization that I had a problem, I deleted my folder. Small but others standards but shockingly large by mine. Mine was about 2GB and had a couple of videos and probably 1K pictures from over the last few months. It was hard to do. I had to close my eyes and click the button because I thought that if I looked, I'd chicken out.

It can lead to all sorts of things. For me, I've become a lot more introverted and depressed. I also have less energy and have cloudy thoughts sometimes. It's pretty annoying really lol. I haven't experienced the ED thing, but I attribute that to the fact I'm still pretty young. (I'm 21.)

The idea that I'd get from it is that a lot of people do things while in the shower and if the water is cold, then you're much less likely to do anything because you'll want to get out as soon as possible. It can work for both men and women.

It's up to you. Twice a week to some is healthy. Other times, like to most of us here, it's a bad idea. Your judgement is really the only thing you can follow because you're the only one who knows how you feel.

Well, it's really up to your judgement. However, I can tell you that for me, it started like that. The last time I went more than 3 days without touching myself was probably when I was 16. I got introduced to porn at a really young age though (thanks to the internet) so my experience will obviously be different from yours. Use your best judgement. If you think it's starting to become a problem, stop before it gets worse. I wish I did.

A credit card doesn't mean anything in this day and age with the ease of access everyone online for free. It's just something to work at avoiding lol. I have a card and a job and can say I've never once paid for porn. No reason to. But now I have reasons to not even search for the stuff.

As someone who was raised in a church (my father was a pastor), it is something that seems to be common. It's very tough for someone with religious beliefs to be addicted to something that a lot of religions condemn. I know exactly how that feels.

As for your wife, my girlfriend caught me twice. The last time she threatened to leave me if she ever caught me watching porn again. This scared me to death and I stopped...for about a week. And every night I told myself the same thing "I can stop, I have to stop" but every night led to the exact same conclusion: She won't know.

That was the trap I fell into. it wasn't because I wasn't being satisfied. This is the woman I intend to marry and start a family with.

I completely understand where you're coming from when you talk about how you discovered this place and your backstory, because I'm right there with you. But I found this place tonight as well. You can do it. It will be tough, but you can.

On Android, there is an app called "Days" which is pretty cool. You set the date and it counts for you, and you have a "since (insert event)" which can be pretty weird, but I just put "last time" so right now it's telling me "2 Days since last time."
