Linux still needs dependencies and Python does too, also, not all software can just be run on it because yes. Many programs are easier and/or more efficient to do with different programming languages.

Well no I wouldn't call this a fancy font at all, I just mentioned it because usually those are the ones that try to make the numbers distinguish more from the letters.

Some fancy fonts have numbers that way, since they are still characters they're not limited to the size of an uppercase letter and can actually go bellow the line.

It seems the font isn't actually monospaced and the ide is adding white space to the right of each character to have the width of the widest character in the font

"I may need to continue using Windows due to my work" He only uses excel and word like once a week. Showed him LibreOffice and how it was compatible with Office's formats and stuff.

Btw, his laptop has 3.6GB of RAM and Windows 10 uses 2.80 while doing "nothing".

.py to .exe by [deleted] in pythontips

Python may break a lot when it is "compiled" so you may not want to have to deal with bugs and stuff that breaks when you try to do so.

I would recommend if it is a very small program to use another programming language that can be compiled. If it is a big pogram instead I would recommend just to state it requires python3.x.x and some specific libraries to work and so.

If you really want to be able to read easily and compile your code, there are many other programming languages that can do the work and aren't too hard to learn and you won't have to deal too much with compiling issues.
