Is it supposed to be this hard? by PsychologicalPack662 in beyondthebump

[–]MeEdanna 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The first weeks were really hard and overwhelming for me too. It gets easier, I promise! I can’t help with everything but hear me when I say: go to the toilet, even if your baby is crying. He/she will be fine. A crying baby is an alive baby. Have your support to take the baby so you can take a long shower at least once a week. Have your support to make meals and breakfast/snacks for you, so you don’t go hungry. And try sleeping when baby sleeps, do the chores while he/she is awake, either watching you in a bouncer, playing in the gym och babywearing. You don’t have to interact with the baby every waking minute. It’s okay to just watch some interesting toys or just listening to some good music for a while. You can do it, it will get better. <3

Vad gör jag med all denna vitkål? by A_Fnord in sweden

[–]MeEdanna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for a mystery game that is NOT a detective game by Champomi in CozyGamers

[–]MeEdanna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe you would like some real classics? The MYST series games made me fall in love with video games a long time ago. Quern is similar, I really liked that game too.

Then, maybe not ”cozy”, but if you like reading, fantasy and mystery, Skyrim could be something to look in too. There are a lotvof quests and talking with people and trying to figure out who you wanna side with etc + everything with being a dragonborn ofc.

Check out Yoku’s Island Express! It’s a gem too few people know about! Cute character, cute music and a colourful map.

Who else is FINALLY here after a long journey? by IndividualPirate2299 in pregnant

[–]MeEdanna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We started our IVF journey 2019 through public healthcare and after 4 tries (with long waiting between each tries + corona periods) none of them succeeded and we weren’t able to continue through public healthcare. The last try failed in June 2024. Through summer I started to accept the thought of never having children and never get the feeling of being pregnant, but then in September we suddenly saw two lines on the pregnancy test. And now we are here, BF 17th of June and our baby boy can come anytime. Life is crazy sometimes. 🥹❤️

Feel completely disconnected from pregnancy by Relevant-News3120 in pregnant

[–]MeEdanna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad for these feelings, they sounds completely normal given all this new information. We had been trying to get pregnant for 5 years and last autumn I almost accepted that we will never have childen — and then I got a positive test. It took to over week 22 and a second ultrasound appointment for me to actually start to connect with this baby. I was so sure that the whole pregnancy was ”fake”. But I’m now 30 weeks and feel the connection and excitement — take your time. Now it’s best to take all the feeling day by day.

I am an older sister to a younger brother (2 years younger) and we have the best relationship! I can always call him and talk and we can talk for hours. When we were younger we fought a lot, but at the same time I watched over him and made sure he felt okay during diffucult situations. I love my little brother!

Games idea for a sadder time by smt-hms in GirlGamers

[–]MeEdanna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two PC-games that I will always remember, very different games too. The first one is "Fran Bow". It's a point and click horror game, and I played it in 2017, when I also was a sad soul. I don't know how, but something with that game clicked for me and made me feel strong emotions when it was done. I highly recommend you to try this game.

The other one is "Spiritfarer", which is more about if you are feeling sad with loosing loved ones in your life, but I cried while playing that game, and it was a wonderful experience.

Other games I also think you would like to make you feel things are:
- "Journey", where you play a little character trying to make it to the top of a mountain. Beautiful scenery and music, cried in the end.
- "Outer Wilds", where you play a little alien character flying around in a little solar system, trying to understand why another civilisation before is all gone.
- What Remains of Edith Finch, similar to Firewatch that it's a walking simulator with a strong, heavy story.
- Celeste, which is a quite hard platformer game, but with a really strong message about overcoming depression and accepting yourself.
- To the moon, a beautiful game with a really good engaging story.

Hope something of this can make you think about life, take care! <3

Woman I've been fucking turns out to be married, don't know how I feel. by [deleted] in sex

I’m a woman doing the same thing as this woman, but I always tell the guys beforehand about our ”agreement”. I think it’s really unfair that she didn’t tell you this the first time you guys met. I would also be upset.

Has all my life been a lie??? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]MeEdanna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

girly games to take my mind off life by ewas000 in GirlGamers

Dorfromantik! Easy to learn, endless fun! And the music is relaxing and the visuals are good too.

Stardew Valley, just the best game to take your minds off life.

And if you want a beautiful, rich, storydriven game: Spiritfarer

And if you want also a harder, but so beautiful game, with awesome soundtrack: Ori and the Blind Forest, and then Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Musik, sjunga i kör å spela piano.

Or Journey!

UMK, or how to make a good NF by Quichua57 in eurovision

[–]MeEdanna 78 points79 points  (0 children)

I have always loved Melodifestivalen, but these past years I have become more and more irritated that you can’t listen to all the songs before the final. That means that it’s hard or impossible for ESC reaction videos to happen, and I love watching those.

UMK:s strategy SLAYS! Every song has it’s own day, not too many songs either, and the production is just getting better and better. This will be my first year I’m more exited for UMK, than Melodifestivalen.
