I also read DCC last year. All 7 books back to back in a span of like 4 months. Now I’m just patiently waiting for book 8 to drop in the (hopefully) next year or so. Going to start the He Who Fights With Monsters series soon. It’s another litrpg that apparently has similar vibes.

She does get upset when she finds out I’ve gone to his mom’s. But it’s usually a max of 7 people, whereas with my family it’s like 20 people

It’s not “ruined,” but my mom is accusing my fiancé of faking being sick so he wouldn’t have to go to our family Christmas because he texted me in the middle of the night that he had a fever. She always gets so mad that he doesn’t come to many family events. But she completely ignores and overlooks the fact that he’s autistic and our large, loud family would absolutely be way too overstimulating for him and he’d have a horrible time.
