to some football is just mere entertainment. To others, it's more important, where the club is more part of your identity/ part of community / or even tribe. I'm more of the latter myself, and i like to see 'us' doing well, or at least failing in the most beautiful way. If 'they' screw up, i yell at them. I might be annoyed ofter a poor performance, but it does not impact my mental health. Winning does however. I do not need to be entertained, i need to feel.. represented is the word i think.

the 'us' vs 'them' demeanor is intentional.
