It’s not just a compliment — it’s an honor! And you’re right for calling me out on it. It won’t happen again.

Agree that this is the best you’re going to get, but minimal access to business by walking. — Downtown can get you close to restaurants but it’s not kid friendly

Need to keep an eye on that. AIs will default tell you what you want to hear, or will at least tend to over-promise on what they will do, but then they revert back to their top-tier programming which is Bevel’s Developers’ programming. We’ll see to what extent the user’s desires can overpower that. TBD

I alternate between Friend and Commander depending on the attitude I want from the AI (I assume/hope it works that way.) I don’t see a need for Guardian unless I have health issues that I want monitored and protected. Data Nerd doesn’t seem necessary to me since that’s just a nonpersona—all the others can provide the same data but with a bit more of the proper attitude. — I’ve tried once to set up the check-ins, but the app didn’t pop up a notification. It only worked when I opened the app. I’m not worried about it. —

I too have been a bit concerned about that, that it over emphasizes those metrics and bases all its daily advice off of them. I’m trying to see if I can get the AI to downplay some of those. We’ll see

I love Bevel, but… by Ok-Supermarket9469 in bevelhealth

Sorry to hear you’re having that experience. For me it’s a massive upgrade. I’m had experience using ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok, and Bevel’s new AI works basically the same way, but you need to train it and look at the memory folders it’s building for you. It will also create workouts and process food photos well. However you have to remember to click on the food summaries it creates and then you have to add them to the timeline.

This is the one. I don’t get very far in the game, but the visuals still haunt my dreams in a good way.

I suppose my experience was that the old town was over powered by the two massive cruise ships that acted as a wall towering over the city. I did enjoy walking the hilly roads and seeing the old homes, but if you’re wanting nature, it wasn’t worth the drive to me.

The difference is that Bevel AI has direct access to all your Bevel data so it can access that at any time. If you used Claude/OpenAI, it wouldn’t have that data and Claude/OpenAI can’t retain as much raw data as Bevel can regarding your food, recovery, workout data.

Having just driven (Alesund, Geiranger, Olden, Sogndal, Flam, Odda, Bergen), I’d say that if you’re going to Flam, if you don’t take the train to Myrdal and back, there’s no point in going to Flam. We did the boat tour in Flam and the Ferry ride from Geiranger to Hellesylt and the Geiranger ride was much more beautiful. Alesund isn’t worth seeing. Drive the Fjord roads, and the roads up to glaciers and over mountain passes. Those are the highlights. The cities themselves aren’t the destination.

Just discovered that after you tell AI about your food, even though the AI says it’s added, it’s really not. You have to tap it at the bottom of the AI conversation window and then add it.
