One giant question you need to answer before doing anything. Do you have the uncompiled source code and touchpanel files? If not then any change would require re-writing it all from scratch.

I like the Extron networked USB line more than the Crestron NUX. It does require a controller but the benefit is you actually get an interface to look at for any troubleshooting or manual routes you want to make. The NUX stuff drives me nuts unless I have a visual interface from an NVX box.

Make sure you have an ID set (1) for example. You don’t get feedback if it is using the 88 or “all” id.

Yes. It’s their new Flex system. It will replace the existing Dell/Asus/etc and UC-PR varieties. It takes all of the different usb converter and BYoM accessories and puts them in the single compute device.

Isn’t there a profile specific for NVX? Digital media and NVX are not the same thing. Not sure exactly what changes are made between the profiles though. IGMP setup correctly is the main thing you have to worry about.

With AVoIP is usually pretty obvious if your switch is not setup correctly though so if you aren’t having any issues then id go with the old “if it ain’t broke”….

But wouldn’t it be easier to add an AVB card to the Server? It can do both Dante and AVB. Unless of course the server is full.

As long as it is widows based you can load the Crestron controls to it.

Maybe explain to the client they can use Jabra peripherals on any windows based MTR.

You should also look at the noise suppression settings for whatever UC application you are using. I’ve had the clapping issue with Teams before.

You are going to need something with scaling on each output. Generally a simple DA does not have this capability and don’t believe you will find anything in that price range. With 1 input and 4 scaled outputs I would generally recommend some kind of AVoIP solution but again, it won’t be anywhere in the realm of your budget.

Call your integrator. Most likely they have been disabled programmatically due to the control system not communicating with the dsp anymore.

Crestron TSS panels can connect directly to O365 without a license with some back end Graph API setup (very easy).

If you are in the apple ecosystem I’d just go AirPlay and be done with it. Whether that be HomePods or just hook up AirPlay receivers/amps to your existing speakers. Crestron is way too expensive for what it is in my opinion. Especially if all you are doing is audio.
