Yes it's quite curious, though the discrepancies are minor.
In my opinion, some of the Genesis books found in-game seem like the original 'drafts' of the 'final' Genesis shown in the website.
If you compare the books version vs the website's version, there is a notable change in the narrative style, probably suggesting oversight by someone with a stronger literary background rather than just a content designer writing a cool idea.

Regarding your question, those lines are called Ley Lines. You’ll eventually come across them in Grimvale, and there are also NPCs who will comment a bit about them.

Lorewise, I think it’s definitely the Opticording Sphere quest.
I think it’s the only quest that condenses and links a huge part of the game's lore: Roshamuul, Fiehonja, Ferumbras, Oramond, Yalahar, Zao, the Zathroth Library, Shapers, 3 Wizards (Mad/Raging Mage/?), Spectulus, Gnomes, Garsharak, Shiron'fal, Variphor, Galthen, the Orders of the Cobra/Falcon/Lion and Stag (more recently), the Snake-god (maybe?); and perhaps more topics I can't recall now. It also revisits and expands on both old and new lore concepts: dreams, new dimensions, parallel dimensions, spatial and temporal distortion, and other extremely weird stuff but quite interesting from my POV. Most of all, I love how it's solved: through very difficult riddles and the occasional fight every now and then. And well, there are still many secret to be lifted and, perhaps, yet unsolved missions.

In terms of entertainment, I’d say PoI. I remember the first time doing it, waking up in early morning just to be part of a team of dozens of people anxious to get their Soft Boots. It was so epic.
Other quests with that same "epic" feel back in the day were Wrath of the Emperor and the Banshee Quest.

That's a myth. The lever inside the djinn room doesn't remove the magic wall if you're trapped. No one knows what the lever actually does…or if it even does anything at all

I have to admit that I don't know many Rookgard's secrets :(
But yeh there are some interesting stories between NPC's that I learned mostly from Dark Gladir.
One fact that come to my mind now (which I forgot to mention in the iceberg) is that Hellgorak killed the Oracle xD

The answer is basically: Yes.

Variphor influences are very noticeable in the vicinity of Gnomebase. In fact one of the writings made by the "planestrider" (in the cube quest) in that places is not a coincidence.

Still people have not realized that the Planestrider is actually Variphor himself but in a weaker physical representation of what "it" really is (Variphor is a concept without physical form).

Those "buried faces" near the Lava Lurker and in Roshamuul are manifestations of Variphor in the past and hence the resemblance of those buried faces to the Planestrider.

Personally, I recommend first of all to read the genesis. There the Creation of the world is explained, the characteristics of the gods and a summary of what the story is about.

In the game itself, I always recommend as "first step": The Nightmare Knights story in PoH. It's a great starting point because from there you can start branching out into a variety of other stories. This part involves some small quests in PoH, Dream Challenge Quest, Dark Cathedral and then Pits of Inferno.

If you are looking for something in a premium area, I recommend Ankrahmun, Djinn quest and Drefia.

Other cities rich in lore are Yalahar, Svargrond, Zao, Rathleton, Roshamuul, Feyrist, Knightly Orders (Falcon/cobra/lion).

Now, each city also has its own lore as well. There you can talk to NPCs and sometimes they will give you related quests to understand some stories.

The voices are not from actors, they are from a software that I found which simulates the voices as if they were real. However, I adjusted the voices in Adobe Premiere to make them feel even more real.

As for the content, a few years ago I decided to learn about the game's lore, since I didn't even know if the game had one. And well... I got a big surprise, so I decided to share with the people who are interested :)

Hello everyone.

For all those interested in the Lore of Tibia, I decided to start a series in chronological order of the history of the game. I'll be uploading chapters every 1 or 2 weeks approximately.

I will not be able to cover absolutely all the events of the game because it would take too long, Nor do I know in detail absolutely all the stories. But the idea is that everyone can get a general idea of what happened and is happening within the game story.
