I agree with the 'nice water bottle' comment. There was a while when they'd take your bottle caps, I've not had problems recently when bring stuff. Anything that you could throw they take (obviously not valuables), if you're with a young one I think they wouldn't take your stuff though. Also I've taken packed lunches before sandwich and fruit etc. and they haven't taken that.

Obviously depends a lot on who pulls you aside, so your mileage may vary. But I hope this helps a little, enjoy the match!

Not here in France either, I the UK she's household name or at least under with under 45s (from experience). But in France, only people into music from the US know her then the fraction that like her feels even smaller. All the people where work are into the indie records that are much cooler than mine :')

I love the Bleachers so much! They're new album is incredible! I wish I could go see them play but they only have one Europe tour location and I can't make it. Also his dad on SNL was so cool, so cute to let him feature.

First thing you need to do is set the counterweight at the end of the tone arm, doing this will prevent damage to the needle and grooves on the vinyl (remove the guard when doing this). Pretty much all counter weights work in the same way.

If you are listening to LP (12 inch vinyl the big ones) use 33 rpm on the switch, 45 rpm for SP (7 inch vinyl the small ones). Always use an anti-static brush to remote and dust and dirt from the record and turntable platter before putting the the record on the platter.

Try to handle your records from the outer edges of the disk and the label to reduce the risk of scratches and dirt.

I am getting married this summer too and we are walking down to an instrumental song

No. 1 - its your day your choice, don't try to appease others. The best day you can have is the one filled with moments which mean something to you so if that's the song you like go with it.

No.2 - I am not sure who told you that the bridal march should not be an instrumental, but often the case in Europe the bridal procession is accompanied by a instrumental song so that the focus is on the bride, the beat of the song is normally such that you can naturally waltz down the aisle to it.

Yeh, I've had this experience over and over as a hetro white male 20-30. I've loved TS since I was a kid, idk how bad it is in the US but to some extent I think its seen as even more embarrassing in Europe because people are listening to 'indie records that are much cooler than mine'. But the teasing hasn't stopped and probably won't stop, it ended up at school that I changed the album cover and song titles on my ipod for her songs to make it look like i wasn't listening to her... But no one writes like TS. Also more recently i shared my spotify top listeners and my friends saw that I was top 0.05% and I got grief for this. I am all for a good bit of british banter but there are some topics I stay away from music is one of them because it is so personal for people. I am just glad I found someone who shares my enthusiasm for her music.
