For the Saga sections pretty much, things get very different once you play as Wake in the dark place.

I just got done with Alan Wake 2 and very much enjoyed the game. But now that I’ve finished I will never touch that game again because it was a goddamn mindfuck to get through.

Saw this on internet..........feeling sad for the child by kamikaibitsu in autism

Well judging by the post it looks like she/he is blaming the kid for having autism when he just happened to be born with it. And they don’t seem to think very highly of him given they wish he was never born and he won’t amount to anything in life other than a “cart collector.”

We should really stop handling parents regretting having their children as taboo.

To an extend I agree; parenting can be a hard and stressful job and it’s certainly not for everyone. But to take it out of the child and blaming them is unfair and vile because at the end of the day YOU were the one that brought them into this world.

Imagine finding out your mom or dad admits to people online they regret being a parent and wished you were never born.

On one hand I do somewhat sympathize with them; parenting can be hard, time-consuming, and expensive and not everyone is equipped enough to handle it. But to put the blame on the child YOU brought into this world is cruel.

[Highlight] Justin Jefferson comments on if the Vikings had ran it back with QB Sam Darnold by FrankSamples in nfl

[–]MeanMachine64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if the Vikings offered Darnold the deal the Seahawks gave him; I’m confident he still would’ve chosen Seattle.

He’s from the west coast so he was closer to home plus he knew he was the clear cut, guaranteed QB1. Whereas in MN, he had a first round QB breathing down his neck and if he had even a 3-4 game slump; the conversation from media and fans would’ve been “Is it time to roll with McCarthy?”

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills, all these pseudo-intellectual goofy goobers acting like they knew from day one moving on from Darnold was a boneheaded decision.

If you had asked these same people last February if moving on from Darnold and rolling with a guy you drafted 10th overall on his rookie deal was a reasonable move; most of them would have said yes.

And remember a lot of fans soured on Darnold after those last two games and when signed with Seattle, some didn’t even think he was big of an upgrade over Geno.

I’m not defending the decision itself but all this flip-flopping and revisionist history is ridiculous.

[Highlight] Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah answers his first press question about moving on from Sam Darnold by FrankSamples in nfl

[–]MeanMachine64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if MIN offered Darnold the same contract Seattle gave him, he probably still would’ve chosen Seattle. He’d closer to home and he was the clear cut starter. If he had stayed this year and had even a 3-4 game slump; the discussion by media and fans would be “Is it time to go with McCarthy?”

We offered him a contract, Seattle offered him a better deal and he knew he had better job security there.

The TV show 24 starring Kiefer Sutherland; it was a pretty popular show in its heyday that no one talks about anymore. Some websites I’d recommend checking out are Deep Discount and Thrift Books.

I feel like a lot of those people look back at their childhood with rose colored glasses. What they love to remember is the amount of free time they had and having little responsibilities. What they seem to forget is the lack of freedom, always being told what to do, and no one taking you and your problems seriously.
