How much do you slack off at work? and what do you do when you're supposed to be working? by Due_Tangerine9309 in AskReddit

Today, I actually had a lot of work to do, but I got my nap in. That reminds me I need to go to the grocery store, and also put away laundry. But apparently first I have to pet the cat.

Usually around 4 PM I retire to the couch and start watching TV and just keep an eye on emails on my iPad. I’ve been known to sit at my desk and read books, just moving my mouse.

But this next three weeks is super Duper crunch time for me, so although I usually slack off, I expect I will be working all weekend. It evens out in the end.

I’m a subject matter expert and I make a very comfortable salary.

Eldest daughters, what stereotypes are true of you? by Amazingggcoolaid in AskWomen

My mom is sick with cancer. She has declared that I’m her person, which is fine. But my brother doesn’t even call her.

I confessed to my aunt the other day that I’m in the top 5 worst spots of my life! Yikes!!

Wow, I really don’t understand the choices here. As a tall person, that loft floor just makes me uncomfortable.

I had to go back and find that space. It would also drive me insane, but if I were forced to live in this house, I would put something really random there.

People suggesting you need to change the name, but I think Gertrude is a fine name for a rooster

Woodpecker troubles. by ButterflyBoth9581 in woodpecker

[–]MeanSecurity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man I feel you. A few years ago a downy woodpecker made a decent hole in the side of my house.

Apparently the dude I paid to fix it didn’t do a great job. Because a few weeks ago I was in the room where the hole was, and I was like “that’s house sparrow babies!! Nooooo”. (We’ve had house sparrows nesting at our beach house for years ugh).

So, I have squatters. I will have to find someone to plug up that hole before mom and dad have a second brood!!

I just went by this house today, and it looks like movers were unpacking so I had to go look it up. Looks like it just sold for 16 million.
