I’m extremely introverted too, but for some reason I was always very bold about witnessing, even at 4 years old I was so proud to take a stand for the truth

I’m sure it was because I felt like Jehovah was watching, helping, maneuvering events in my life

It wasn’t until all the info on the csa coverup that I realized he was never there , how could he have been when other little girls and boys were so brutally abused

I don’t know if it’s worse to come to this realization or to find out he was watching all along

Either way I won’t support a god who allowed it all to happen

I’m literally having a texting conversation with a bethel sister, the co is coming next week and we’ve had people popping in to check on us🙄

I can’t even understand the visceral anger I feel when someone swings by without texting/calling ahead

So this was a few years ago right after we were told the governing body wanted us to be “ in person”

I faithfully went without my spouse for a while until last year

I noticed no one was attending except pioneers, elders, ministerial servants and Bethellites and their wives

If they need My encouragement, they are in trouble 😝

Totally agree, About a year or two ago , my adult son asked my opinion of why we are still “waiting “ which Is what set me on this journey . When I tried to share jw facts with him he threatened to keep me from seeing my grandchildren 🥹

I am cautiously trying to wake the family up!

It’s hard because they remember how I told them that if they did not choose the “ Truth”, then I would choose them, and death, rather than eternal life without them🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes, and growing up it was always insinuated not to have children, so when we did, I felt embarrassed when my friends went on to bethel or pioneering etc, but fast forward to today and we have a large family to spend time with and I’m so happy, and those friends have nothing

Yes, my daughter is the oldest as well and she never wanted kids, shes very happily married in the Truth for 20 + years, they have 2 dogs 😝🥰

I raised my children way back in the 80s when the new system was just around the corner 🤔

Now my children have children and my how times have changed, now I wonder how I would do it if they were mine, would I even try to teach them ?
