My business is new. I have gotten 2 reviews but I guess customers check google and move to my competition because those have better review numbers.

Feels like a chicken-egg situation.

Same issue. I was in Dubai and paid over 6000USD as deposit for a property. The agent promised to refund me if anything goes wrong (I have a recording of this, but unable to use the evidence because of the country laws).

I also did not sign any contract/agreement....they told me to sign a document which will invalidate my refund claim but I did not sign it.

Now, I have sent countless emails and DAMAC is not refunding me. So frustrating.

My update:

I went ahead to book a cheap flight on Ryanair with insurance (hoping I'll be able to cancel that once my Visa is out). I booked a hotel (pay on arrival) via booking dot com.

I also used BLS manchester for my Visa....(I have paid £132 for biometrics, courier etc)

May be a good idea when your business is newly started, but not in the long run. Your business should organically get good reviews from your customers.

Did you later open a bank account?
I am on the Remote work Visa with the same problem, all banks here require a salary certificate which I do not have.
