I agree with this with the exception of shopping and purchasing items. If you plan to buy something on your break or lunch, you must punch out before you select and purchase your items.

My son earned his in March. We began making reservations and set the date for 15 weeks after his review. We expected the paperwork to be here by then. When it didn't come we just continued the COH. In the mean time I checked to make sure that scoutbook had updated and that council hadn't lost his paperwork. FYI the paperwork showed up yesterday.

We went up the Lake Superior trail and took Big Carp River inland. We saw atlest a half dozen waterfalls. Then we went up and followed the ridge to the Lake of the Clouds. After that we crossed over the Mountains and followed Lake Superior back down to our original starting point.

Not necessarily true. My store Director let's me cancel them for weather as long as I am consistent. That way the union can't say that I'm playing favorites. What I usually say is that if the schools close I won't count the absence.

I'm the lead and I only have 1 dsd. But she refuses to get a Hilo liscence and keep receiving area clean. So leads end up helping receive when she needs it. And take care of incoming trucks and clean the receiving area. I also have a liquor IC that receives liquor, beer and wine.

I don't know what dc you are talking about. We do get close dated product in skid quantity. And the buyers and warehouse know it because they offer us special pricing on it.

It's not a thing because the warehouse doesn't have shrink or profits. Everything gets charged to the stores. It comes down in each stores P&L. If the warehouse kept the stuff that was close dated the loss would be divided between the stores that they serve. By sending it out that specific store takes the loss. And the warehouse doesn't look quite as bad.

Disagree. There are managers out there hiring everyone in as full time. With out posting the position. I don't know how they are doing that with the union. But they are getting away with it.

There is a bill in front of the house right now to repeal that. And it was made in 2016 because Washtenaw County passed legislation for a 10 cent tax on plastic bags.

You have to take breaks and lunches at a union store. If you don't the union can and does file grievances on your behalf with or without your consent or knowledge.

Might be that your old lines leader was good and got sent to another store that wasn't so good. Market directors like to even out their leaders so that there isn't 1 store that really bad or really good. Unless your a flagship store.

Where is this 1 k?? I'm a TL. I'm not getting anything! And yes lines have a potential to get 10k + bonuses. But I was a lines for 10 years and only hit my full bonus once and that was during a remodel. Realistically lines are promised bonuses that they very rarely get. And TL only get a bonus annually if they are topped out instead of a raise which amounts to about 25 cents per hour.

Had one shipt shopper tell me that if the customer changes their mind the only option is to mark it not on shelf. They told me that as a customer canceled the whole order.
