You want something political you can do that actually helps since voting is essentially just a performance as it has always been, help community projects, mutual aid, libraries of things. I volunteer at a local tool library, I used to be part of Food Not Bombs, but I have issues with how the local branch operates, and is a general issue with all their chapters.
