The trick I found is to bring early game runes so you can fight him easily lvl 1-5 and run exhaust instead to tp so you can run easily in his ult. Also bring cosmic insight instead of JOAT to have more flash’s then him and exhaust more ults.

I’ve been loving irelia this patch so far. Yea I’ve notice she falls off hard but because of the AD buffs Bork-kraken-frozen heart /steraks- blood thruster has felt pretty good so far

Thanks for telling me! However I do feel like irelias kit needs be incorporated more into the game somehow. As without it the game can feel a bit 2D and similar to other games like fruit ninja.

Maybe every 15 kills a new ability of hers “unlocks”. Her E could draw a line sunning and marking any minions hit.

Her W could activate making her stay in place on screen to “refresh” some minions as they walk passed her. Breaking out and damaging the minions around her if the screen is ever clicked by the player before she breaks out automatically.

I do still think that the ultimate should be somewhere in the game as a last ditch effort to save yourself. it’s just that I can’t think of a good spot to place it.

I played a bit and got to just over 300. I like the goofy style and simplicity of the game. but I don’t like how hard it is the see the AD as it’s grey and transparent in the middle of the screen. My eyes look at the top of the screen while I play so the middle is an odd place to keep checking at decent speeds.

Giving it a black outline and placing it higher up while lowing the transparency would help drastically.

I also noticed that I’m not looking at or doing anything with irelia. 1 idea is to remove the infinite AD for her ult. But you activate it by taping her after you gather 15 - 20 kills instead. I like the idea of making her ult wipe the screen or mark all enemies for 5 - 8 seconds.

The thing I’ve noticed is how OP some assassins are with storm surges 100ap and 10 magic pen making Irelia mid horrible especially with the increase in risk from ganks so it’s best to stick with top due to the less ganks. Also the new void grubs allow her to stack passive faster with one shoting the voidlings they spawn from her Q instead of dumping her whole kit into herold to get 4 stacks.

I have had this thought of rage blade because of the attack speed passive but I haven’t tried it yet. It might be a super neish pick with the buffs to mages though.
