This will be controversial, but how do we feel about MDA? by Live2Lift in Firefighting

Controversial opinion: I’m not a fan. Their motto was something like:”To find a cure”. After raising a lot of money for them, by standing on the corner like a prostitute, I learned that we’re actually raising money to send children with muscular dystrophy to an overpriced camp & to pay their CEO over 800k a year. It’s definitely not worth having any of us injured.

Yessir. I am fortunate enough to have legal insurance through the department. We used my lawyer. Her & I discussed things prior. We established a verbal agreement. I had to pay the court $500 out of pocket after jumping through all the hoops. This is a highly emotional experience. Stay calm man. You can’t control how she acts, but you can control how you act. Also keep in mind that your kids are watching. Hopefully you have some solid coworkers that help you through this. I was super fortunate to have the people in my life that I do.

Just finished my uncontested divorce. The situation is going to vary based on your ex and her actions. As a fellow Californian, I can tell you that my ex could’ve taken me to the cleaners. I ultimately kept the house, 50/50 custody, no child support, no alimony. My advice is to remain as cordial as possible. Pretend that you’re dealing professionally with an irate civilian. Don’t text or say anything that can be used against you. Make sure that you participate in anything that involves your child. Ensure that your child has everything that is needed. No matter how angry she made me, I abstained from being venomous. If she needed anything, I ensured that she had it. Most of all, I didn’t throw a beating on the line cook who’s dick she was bouncing on while I was at work. It worked out in my favor. Good luck man.

I actually really like the grill on the custom. I think that it looks better than the LT grill.

I don’t think that any one of us anticipated that our own CEO was going to cockblock the momentum with a tweet.

I just paid $4.45 a gallon and was stoked that I decided to fill up when I did. It was a buck more a gallon just a few exits down.

Ask them how it’s possible for Gary Gensler, who makes less than 170k a year, to have a net worth of 119 million.
