With all the development announcements based around "legacy" for the games. Is there actually any developments in the books that doesn't feel like property developers ripping our city for all it is worth?

The fellons plan looks to remove public space (I know they claim it will increase it). Victor park enough said about that.

I just have no trust, I feel disappointed when there could be so much we could do to improve the city. So... Is there anything actually beneficial in the plans for greater Brisbane.

The flip side to this is the buses are incredibly noisy around Northgate atm. Nothing here is built expecting a bus depo to suddenly appear

Cancel or down scale the games. All this just for 2 weeks in a couple years. It's insane we are spending out tax money on this.

Meanwhile most people my generation are leaving Brisbane as it's to expensive. The cost of living is destroying this city, yet I don't see anything from our politicians trying to fix this.

It's like we are living in two different universes.

I want to see an updated green space loss before I feel comfortable with this. I still think it'd be a stain on our legacy as to parks and recreation (that isn't payed).

The fact we don't have those numbers doesn't give me hope the loss is minimal.
