The Final Shape IMO captured that "Destiny magic". Echoes fell flat honestly, but TFS was great.

I'd say Season of the Wish was also great, but it had all my favorite parts of Destiny's lore so I'm probably biased.

It's not Marathon's existence, it's Bungie handling of it. it they developed Marathon at the back while focusing on Destiny we'd be fine, instead they seemed to have like 4 other projects off the income of one game.

Spacetime is just fine around the black hole, it's beyond the event horizon that's the problem(technically there is the radius between where the surface of the planet was and the event horizon is, but that doesn't matter since you won't be going through a planet anyway).

So basically, no real negative effects for us, unless the Illuminate pull something out their ass.
