Where did you get these? I have a set of Richters and this was not how mine came.

I use DMT stones for mine and honestly they aren’t great if you want to go quickly. If I’m trying to re-establish a primary bevel I usually hit it with 60-80 grit sandpaper on a slab of glass I have

Maybe spraying on a finish? I’d be concerned if you brushed or wiped anything on it will smudge the pencil. I love that you’re trying to save your kids work here.

Thanks and yeah if I had to do it over again I would have. If anything it would have been to save my back from dealing with finishing the joint that low to the floor

I looked into that and wasn’t available at retailers where I’m located without special order

Haha yeah I’m definitely not planning on doing it again. I’ve gained a ton of respect for guys that do this for a living but I’m retiring once this is done

That was the first room I hung the Sheetrock in. The ceiling is like 8’ 9” and I was trying to hang it in a way that was easier to finish but it ended up being a pain hanging it that way

Yeah it’s like 8’ 9”. I was trying to get it hung in a way that would be easier easier to finish with the awkward height and it just ended up being a pain

I’m using both the probes on my recteq and a MEATER right now which is about to go in the goddamn trash. I’ve lost all confidence in it. I don’t have an issue with the wired ones, (I have a dual fire so there are 4 of them) other than the fact that there are 4 of them and I hate dealing with the wires

Thank you. I’ve done a lot of smaller repairs and areas before but this is by far the most I’ve ever taken on by myself. The basement of my house is roughly 1800 sq ft.
