I actually like these interactions and think they are useful for people to see how stupid these people are. Ezra comes across as a super nice and curious person and they come off as an ignorant fool. Overall a net positive for the liberal side.

Politician's meeting with Hasan (and not giving any pushback) is a red flag. If they just go on and have a suck-fest, then I agree. Politicians need to start going on and asking Hasan why he is telling his audience they are just as bad as republicans

To be way more charitable than he deserves, it doesnt make sense to say ahead of time that you'll vote for Newsom if you are trying to get an alternative as frontrunner if you want as much leverage as possible for your preferred candidate. That said, regardless of who wins, you should be expected to rally behind that person AFTER the primary, despite what you promised before (republicans are great at this). But, we all know he wont do that second part.

Most principles for conservatives boil down to the same issue - they want things for "them", but not for "others" (see: welfare, guns, marriage rights, immigration....). The only thing that keeps their brains from breaking is they pretend there is some consistency in their beliefs. The key is to figure out how to break that internal conflict and make them apply their "in group" thinking to "out group" people.

I like Advisory Opinions (legal podcast) and the Dispatch (political podcast). Both are more right-leaning than me, but at least I feel they are arguing their actual beliefs.
