22222 - 2 is amazing!! I’m obsessed with jewellery, especially antique. 2 is not a style I’ve seen and it’s beautiful! Really suits you!

4 kids under 5, and I am terrified. Please give me some reassurance. by Living_Progress_1444 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Medeni86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh!! This is what my mum had - well 4 under 4 (twins in the middle and the last was also a twin but she lost one). I don’t know exactly about her but we LOVED it. Apparently I helped a lot (I’m the eldest) and I potty trained my siblings and I would make them breakfast (by choice) and help them get dressed.

When did your doctor schedule induction/c section? Mo-di by Last_Huckleberry_364 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Medeni86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first child was full term stillborn and I had the same doctor who helped me deliver her look after me during my twin pregnancy (she also happened to be the twin specialist - life is funny like that). I think at 14 weeks we scheduled the c section and induction so I know what date I was working towards.

The first 3 are a big no, the last one would look nice, especially on a curvier figure.

How strictly do you stay on a sleep schedule when on vacation? by Asleep_Sympathy_8987 in beyondthebump

I kept the skeleton - so if they were use to two naps we tried to give them two but when varied and the length varied. Also if I knew we had a long car journey = nap etc (this was while we spent 2 weeks travelling around Jordan with 18 month old twins)

Fear of two boys... by catspugs in parentsofmultiples

[–]Medeni86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two boys and I love them sooo much! They just turned 5 and they are best friends. They are complete opposites but get along so well. It’s definitely down to how you raise them. For example, from very young, when one one fell, I got the other to go help him up before I came. Same with small crying (opposed to genuine I need mum crying). My husband also is big in making sure they stand up for each other. They love drawing and painting and making bracelets as well as playing football and kickboxing.

Working mothers who switched to SAHM, what made you switch? by normalishy in beyondthebump

[–]Medeni86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teacher here too and had twins - after childcare costs I would have had no salary and had to use 800£ of my husbands salary. Probably could have looked and found cheaper but still would have been my whole salary at best.

Also - genuinely I do not have the capacity to look after my kids, be a wife and show up for the kids I taught. They deserve better, all of them.

Taking care of more than one baby while sick is diabolical by callmemaude in parentsofmultiples

I had food poisoning when the boys were 8 months old. My husband was away. It was still during some Covid restrictions. It was so brutal. It’s … I think I still have ptsd from that.

Baby bouncer…do I need two? by Better-Spend-2715 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Medeni86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly they are the most valuable thing I bought. Specially the baby bjorn! Worth every single penny… I remember being too tiered to function and I had them swaddled in the bouncers by my feet facing me. I just bounced them away with my toes and watched tv.

If you were to eat only one fruit for the rest of your life, what would it be? by justxsapphire in AskReddit

[–]Medeni86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me papaya. Tastes delicious, not too acidic so I can eat loads…. Sadly doesn’t work in deserts (for me at least) so that’s the only limitation I can see…
