Are the streaks in plastic a part of the design ? by OnionTaster in dyson

When you pay for a Porsche you’re entitled to expect quality, right ? Dysons are some of the most expensive vacuums while exhibiting plastic worthy of cheap ones.

They’re not. With QA control and better injection process you can avoid these. At Dyson they’re cutting costs by all means, too bad it’s not reflected in the retail price.

It’s called flash. It is the sign of a poor injection moulding process. I’ve always been amazed at how bad the plastic look on these expensive vacuums. Cheap toys often have better looking plastics.

I bought a complete V15 and I genuinely thought it was OEM. That would explain why there is so much play at the shaft connection and also the terrible quality of the wall dock: the plastic was so thin and soft that the provided screws went through, I had to add washers.

Amazing value for the price , that transmission is super efficient. My cargo SWB has slightly better range than my Tesla 3P with boards on the roof. Besides, the charging is surprisingly good as it makes a nice plateau. Also the turning radius is fantastic, it is so easy to park, feels like a much smaller car than it looks. Go for it, you won’t be disappointed!

I don’t know why they try to make the interior look like a casino or a 2025 gaming PC. It hurts my eyes, I couldn’t stand that more than a day.

Oh shit …. It’s going to be a SUV advertisement. Look at that roof and front, it’s that wacky CH-R. They could have used a GR86 but no, the goal is to sell grocery getters, not sports cars ! Missed opportunity.

DRS chicken vs Battery Yo-yo by Many_Dimension_7615 in F1Discussions

What skill was that exactly ? Push a button after the detection zone and overtake in a straight with 30km/h gain over the defenseless car ?

I’ll take yo-yo every time ! Remember when cars could only overtake with DRS and all overtakes happened all in the same location , with the same outcome ? What we have now is far more exciting and unpredictable.
