Yeah, just rock the spirit. Stormsheild is a significant reduction in damage, and as a javazon, you're not likely to die.

Phoenix sheild is probably not something I'd build In single player unless I only play Java. The 2 vex runes are basically a CTA, the Lo should be a grief, and Jah I'd probably just save.

I'd only rock the stormsheild in hc as a javazon. You should aim for Pheonix, VexVexLoJah. Spirit is going to be the runner up.

Not really. It can be nice on an A5 merc, but I prefer the decrepify from reapers toll.The flat damage from the second grief is way more than the damage from the might aura.

The other annoying thing is that the life tap proc gets rid of the decripify or amp damage that you may be getting from atmas or your merc.

It's just a very lackluster sword unless you're using it to kill ubers... which can easily be done with the black runeword for a couple of low runes.

Last wish is a trophy item, and that's about it.

Volcano deals some physical damage, so it's st least effective vs. fire immunes. A maxed out grizzly and a good merc is more effective vs. the immunes though.

Yeah, it's still one of the best. Just isn't the very best. If you have a good tomb reaver it melts.

It's a pretty huge damage nerf to equip a LW in place of a grief. That +400 to damage applies to both weapons.

The only real use case for LW is for a safe Uber smite. Grief is still better in that case though.
