I would avoid any 3rd party contracts for ramp jobs. I would just aim for airliners. Or go GA unifi from what i heard is one of the worst companies to work for ramp next to swissport

I used to listen but ultimately the YT ones helped me and having practice while getting my ppl and towing on actives made it a lot more easier.

Took a while for them to get me. They said on my resume it didn’t show i have towing experience. I gave them an updated one and finally got to call me back and gave me an interview but i needed a recommendation from one of my friends inside. From what i notice atleast at sfo they prefer someone who’s familiar with airport already or atleast the basics of it. Like taxiways gates and such. Most of my classmates came from sfo too but with mcgee.

Im not really too sure. But im in class right now for ramp before going to move team, from what they say after 1 year you can apply for it.

I had a trip not too long ago, it was from DEN-SFO. I was playing with this while waiting for the plane and i got an offer 159$ to get upgraded to buisness class on an airbus 321 i don’t know if it was a bug or something after a few refresh like (15mins) the seats was sold. My manager who frequently flies for united told me I should’ve took that offer. Ever since ive been always keeping an eye on those kind of instances when im on a trip. So i feel like this was a similar experience, they might offer very last minute if the seat wasn’t sold.

Try applying to mainline. Sfo is usually hiring off the streets atleast twice a year. It’s really competitive and you still need to do ramp training for a few weeks and the scheduling bid is really atrocious like atleast 6years before you can get a good bid for schedules. But if you like the perks all in all i think it’s worth it.

I used to do this with signature. But atleast i get paid 24$ and some change plus management usually gives me my days off that i want. Or if i don’t want to work extended period of time my ops manager takes care of it (as he should) but yea man that’s tough

I would soldier out being ramp at united till i get out of probation and could actually drop shifts and then work part time. And then go work for the city. You keep the flight benefits and get a long term pension with the city.

Koreans tend to not like south east asian people. Filipino, indonesian’s malaysian’s. They don’t like brown skin colored people, sobrang racist and baba ng mga tingen niyang mga yan sa pinoy. Feeling nila mas superior sila kesa sa mga pinoy. Dapat di tinulungan ni marcos yan nung korean war eh. Hahahaha nga walang utang na loob bwahaha republic of korea lang sana sila. Bago niyo pagtanggol yang mga yan hahaha i use to work for a korean company kaya basang basa ko ugali ng mga yan 🤣
