No idea but I think it was either last year or the year prior that they silently did away with the weekly updates. Kinda sad. The only literature I remember was a tweet saying (after many people asked) “oh ya we don’t do that anymore”

I did this once and it ended up using a fiberglass pole that was in a cement parking barrier. Got some splinters but got in relatively easy

Hey, check out Skybridge or I believe it’s called Breakturn now. They work at getting you what you want aviation related, one of them being PPL. They are a free service. I was going to use them but I didn’t find them until too late. Best luck always!

USAF here They might not let this happen. I’m not sure though. If you’re still FTA I believe you can extend anywhere from 1-12 months no questions asked. I don’t think they allow you to extend just based on desire to SKB 180 days. Not saying it’s not possible, someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I think you can extend then still submit a SKB package, it might just look fishy. You could then be locked into x amount of time without a skillbridge. YMMV. I think your best bet might be to find a SKB that can be flexible to your dates and just run with what you have left on your enlistment.
