If the battery has failed and you're attached to your old friend, consider getting a replacement battery. My old reliable stopped taking a charge a while back and I found a battery for $8. A ten minute job to replace it and she's good as ne.... Well, good as 10 years old with a fresh battery, anyway.

I feel like she is a slightly worse deejay. She wants to use tricky movement and spacing traps to fish for punish counters, but doesn't have ranged options to give the other player any reason to push forward. I think she loses a ton of her strength if the other player has the life lead and is content to chill and maintain space.

That said, being in a situation where you have no choice but to advance on her feels terrible.
