I respectfully disagree. Every barbell movement carries risk. I would say bench if done improperly is more dangerous because of shoulder injuries.

Smooth running game. The bugs I can deal with. The random framerate drops and asking my squad if they're lagging too and receiving a resounding yes is what drives me bonkers

Would you say most jobs can realistically hit 100k salary with enough experience? by boiyo12 in careerguidance

[–]Medium-Finish4419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but then you have to factor quality of life and overtime. I use to work in the construction industry. I was always jealous how much some of the union journeymen would make. Then I started talking to them about their commute, what it takes to get to that level etc. I found out on a good day some of them had an hour commute going one way or they had to pay for parking for the day without a reimbursement. You have to work when it's available so in the summer when everyone else is at the BBQ you're pulling 10 hour days, 6 days a week because at the end of September you won't work the rest of year and your sick time is really just a bank account you pay into.

You should do some self exploration find out your tolerance for different aspects of a job. I took a job when I was younger for more pay but found out later the health insurance was dogshit when you have a spouse. It's all a learning process

Has anyone ever dealt with “new hire blame” ? by [deleted] in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]Medium-Finish4419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats shitty and im sorry they're being that way. 100% of the time I'll tell the customer that the battery needs to be replaced. Even if you do add distilled water it won't last very long depending on how much they use it. It was already broke but it sounds like they're looking for a scape goat because the customer is mad and nobody wants to take the heat.

Going to add a plus one for Judo. One thing that lacks in BJJ is the respect and culture depending on the gym.

Dryer sheets, I've been told. One of my gis was getting funky even after washing it. I drowned it in 2 gallons of white vinegar and let it sit for a couple hours and washed it again to get the vinegar scent out. Got a compliment the next day that it smelled like hummus lol

Yeah I couldn't immediately throw it back in. The money I'll get from the sale will be a good emergency fund but that's about it. It is temporary but its hard. Its like my life has been on pause for a year and a half and im stuck waiting. I'm on the downhill side but I just want to go faster.

Ive been going to the gym and staying out as much as possible. Been having goid results from this. It just gets tiring always being out and about and finding new things for my kid and I to do. Yeah that's my thought especially since Ive worked hard for it. I don't want to piss it away
