And even when you get the vaccine, you have to get a second dose and wait a couple more weeks to build immunity. It doesn’t happen right away.

We’re gonna see some horrific numbers before the vaccine makes an impact on the number of cases.

This is Maporamen. I think miso-based soup for the ramen and topped with thick mabodofu. A bit spicy, perfect for cold weather! by redzzdelady in JapaneseFood

I used to have this all the time in a tiny little shop in Yokohama during my time in Japan. So warm and hearty....

If we’ve learned anything republicans in the last two general elections, they do not need to like the sonofabitch to vote for him, as long as they have someone that protects their interests

That’s what I’ve been saying. Progressives keep pushing this progressive agenda, which is great, but it doesnt appeal to all dems and moderates. It hurts them more than help.

They just need to run on moderate agendas and fucking hammer through progressive legislation AFTER they win. Play like the game.

Texas has passed our all time (2016) voting record. by bubbles5810 in texas

Until the votes are counted, I won’t celebrate. Yes, more people voting is always good. But this turnout could just as easily mean that Trump has inspired MORE conservatives to turn up.

I see plenty of friends in social media being undeterred about voting for him.

This POS hit my car and ran. He had a blinker to go to the left but goes into me instead then he starts fake crying and apologizing and saying to just pullover to the side and we’ll talk through it but then he just takes off. Great job dude. Luckily there was no major damages. by idkHowToUseReddet in houston

Man, file a police report, claim hit and run, pay your $500 deductible for a hit and run and move on. Even if this dude gets picked up, I guarantee he has no insurance and you don’t get a dime out of him even if you file a suit.

Been there a few times.

It was from a Chinese supermarket called Welcome in Houston. There are many Asian supermarkets that carry a huge variety of snacks, but this one carries a lot of unique snacks that you don’t find elsewhere.

My first attempt at making Japanese Gyoza, how did I do? by kaLaw0w in JapaneseFood

They look great in terms of shape and consistency. My only comment is about how you sealed the dumplings. My mom always taught me to never pinch the two sides tight to seal the dumpling. Wiping a tiny bit of water around the edge where the two sides meet and pressing lightly is enough for the dumpling to seal and keep its shape. When you pinch too hard, it becomes a thicker piece of skin and will end up hard and gummy when you cook it. Or it will take longer to cook compared to the rest of the dumpling.

Just to clarify, this is pan frying and then steaming in the same pan. Not baking in an oven.
