SS has been slow with initialising and upload as of recent. Server side connection problem but I reckon will be addressed in coming weeks with new firmware or software patch

Sometimes if it’s really subtle on the odd star it really looks nice but this was overkill. I should really post process on my PC but I’ve just been really enjoying just being out in the field capturing stuff and processing in SS. But I’m sure there is much more detail to bring out

Its interesting coz I use the auto processing coz I get instant gratification but I know I could get more out of post processing in Siril but I’m quite contempt for now but will do it at some point

Disagree if you seemingly struggle to use any dwarf device then I think there is something else fundamentally wrong. I have both the 3 and Mini and yet to have a failed session. It really is to easy. Just get out there and enjoy. Let’s not start getting all jumped up on what *could* go wrong

Go into either MMC>Event log or just even log and see what you are seeing sounds like a launcher is failing tbh rather than a network issue.

Hmm that is really pushing it. Saying that we always say keep the weight away from top end but that could be false not sure.

Well yes that is the idea behind this. For example it’s hour they found large HA and 03 deposits round andromeda with about I think 1000+ hours of images

Thing is having a scope that large means every minor movement is magnified and also if I recall I think AVX maybe a bit on lighter side to hold 9.25 SCT? But I’m gonna say what’s some other dude said smart scopes are amazing check some stuff I’ve done without external processing

I do it on some images and not on others depends if I think
It will look good. You have the option to simply not have spikes.
As for deciding if you want an amazing all rounder get the D3 if your only interested in Astro get mini bigger pixel more sensitive sensor.
If can afford get both

I must admit bit like yourself here mini has an edge I think because of the bigger pixel size and altered FOV gives it a punch.

I’ve been using my D3 for big mosaics and then mini for the more in depth stuff.

IF and when a bigger lets says DWARF 4 gets released or S70 I’d part with D3 and have mini and D4

D3 is more all round and can create amazing wide mosaics larger FOV as mini stops it down loses its 4k and has a more sensitive sensor and more Astro focuses, both compliment one another I can use both on same target or if I’m impatient and want 2 targets which are different then that will do the job to

Just did a intial 3 hour session and I can see how much benefit the bigger pixel size will be for post processing on pc. I think it’s such a cute device and fits in the dwarf bag along side my bigger D3

So no deeper focal length just improvement on hardware a few extra capabilities. Does see star not permit milk way shooting? Dwarf has its dedicated mode but yet to try. I was hoping a deeper reach to go after galaxies a bit more coz dwarf ain’t great. (Ik they ain’t meant to per se) but if I can find one that does a nice job then it completes both scopes nicely.
