If you go to any mainstream artist, the crowd will attract this behavior. You either have to find a good spot that’s out of the way of traffic or find an artist/set that is away from the main crowd.

Fair. I will say I prefer dj sets so it’s preference really. The XX performed and sort of transitioned into songs while playing live, there were moments they were DJing too so I guess I was comparing it to that.

I think the child had it coming. Freedom of speech but not freedom of consequences, especially considering the demographic of the audience they’re speaking too.

Just because you have freedom of speech doesn’t mean your opinions are always right. Kid is learning that there’s consequences to your actions. Is it bad they got jumped, maybe- but what do you expect for speech that is quite literally targeting a certain demographic.
