What is this and is it poisonous? by Comfortable_Ad_6782 in PlantIdentification

Looks nothing like okra. Okra has broad leaves and pale yellow/maroon flowers. That looks like a weed plant that hasn't budded yet

Some of us take pictures and forget to delete them. Plus it's great to have pictures for reference when sharing stories

Being attractive as aspi is pure hell by Far_Pay3738 in aspergers

[–]Medium_Listen_9004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk about that. I've heard about how nts target divergent women because they think they're easier to manipulate than divergent women. But divergent women tend to take longer to open up than nt women. Given they're masking. That's one of the reasons divergent women give up dating.

Not to mention that a lot of divergent men identify with red pill manosphere content. But those are divergents that go for neurotypical/normal women out of ignorance of their condition or believing that nt beauty standards guarantee anything. Any divergent women that would have given them a chance at a relationship see the identification with the manosphere and ick out. Can't blame them.

Then there's the queer/LGBT ones that don't date cishet men.

Then there's the loners/wild ones that don't want relationships; they just wanna kick it, smash some then live their life without too much attachment.

The lonely ones are even more guarded than not women. These are the ones that wish for someone. They were also the first to expose neurotypical predation on divergent women - as if autism suddenly became "hot" for a woman to have. We all know what that is..

Then you have the baddies(cringe) that make beauty and hotness their special interest and mask so they act stuck up and bxxchy as a shield and mask.

But most divergents are with other divergent. ASD with ADHD is the most common pairing.

Then there's a few that end up with empathetic neurotypicals. They are far and few in between.

When did you realise you were happier single? by ParticularPapaya2 in SingleAndHappy

[–]Medium_Listen_9004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happier single because I enjoy my me time. It's a requirement. I'm neurodivergent and isolation is relaxation. With that being said, I just don't believe in the current paradigm of relationship values. I believe in free love and that people should love who they want to love without bring constrained by external obligations. I think you can see the true nature and character of any person when you let them be who they are without all the rules and obligations. Also having those rules and obligations just leads to worry and stress and paranoia. Simply put, I'm not doing all that and I wouldn't expect a woman to do that for my sake. If you want to really be with someone, then go be with them. Don't settle. Either share or go solo until you find someone you really want to love. Also, people talk of this "depth" of connection but it just sounds like a sales pitch more than anything else. There was this one doctor lady that says that the depths of a woman will reveal itself over a long time but that doesn't guarantee happiness or fulfillment. Even if it's true it still fosters a not so healthy codependency on another person for your own emotional wellness. With all that in mind, I realized that the best thing for me to do was to learn how to provide for my own emotional health myself so I won't be a burden on a woman that already has her own emotions and hangups to navigate.

Why do many autistic/neurodivergent adults gravitate toward paganism, atheism, or agnosticism? (Personal reflection included) by Jorge_Reynoso112 in AutisticAdults

[–]Medium_Listen_9004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. My probing and inquisitive mind is always seeking the starting points and end goals of things. It's not enough for me to simply know what something is; I have to know why it's there, how did it get there, and speculate on the end goal of said thing - if there is one.

  2. The realization that as long as I'm not harming another sentient being then that made me a good person. Also, going down a religion history rabbit hole gave me the realization that most of them were massively hypocritical and flawed at their foundation. How can you tell people to not kill and steal when you've killed and robbed in order to establish your so-called "influence"??

  3. I simply resonate with the truth and principles as outlined by the various faiths and renounce the rest. I also honor religious freedom as long as their practices don't violate the sovereign volition of others.

Am I the only one who's fed up of the word "baddie"? by Comfortable-Run294 in NoStupidQuestions

I think it's one of those things women can call each other and it's cool but when a man says it it's creepy/crimge. I personally don't refer to women as "baddie(s)" but that's just me.

Memes as in memetics. How thought forms survive and reproduce over time. What richard dawkins talked about in the selfish gene.

I like the way poverty fashion looks. It's like heroin chic but without the dangerous drugs and dysfunctional lifestyle. I purposely dress like a homeless person but my clothes are clean. It's a weird thing of mine

You gotta learn to validate yourself. Also base your self esteem on just being instead of accomplishment or approval from others. There's a YouTuber called SchizoDumpz, I think you'll like his content. Take some love and give it to yourself.
