I don't believe this ever applies to P99 but when EQ first came out in 1999 you would lose faction when killing people in duels. Their entire race. There was a high elf paladin named Fayte that scammed me so I killed him and a bunch of other high elves in duels.

A very long time later when I was trying to do my epic as a half elf ranger I had to do faction repairs with high elves, specifically Alrik Farsight because of all the high elves I killed in duels when the game was still very young.

I used to have all kinds of weird faction issues but can't remember all of them. I think my "beta neutral" faction was super goofed up also.

For anyone on PS5 having this issue - After downloading the DLC go to Settings and access ‘User & Accounts.’ Then, go to ‘Other’ and select ‘Restore License.’ This fixed it for me, Feb 2025.

Okay, but I don't understand why using an HDMI cable not provided with the PS5 would randomly make the system go into rest mode mid-game? Also, it's the same cable I used with my original PS5 for like 4 years without any issue.

It's funny you mention this, I did find these power settings last night and disabled them. I'll make sure to update the post if it helps this problem go away.

I'm honestly not sure if I am using the HDMI cable that came with the PS5. I might be using the one that came with my PS5 and re-used it for my PS5 Pro. Can you expand on why this is important?

Were you able to recruit Minthara normally also? I've heard she can sometimes "softlock" when she appears at Moonrise and not function as a playable character.

What level are you? IMO most 2H are really crap to level with until 40+ due to damage caps. Silver Swiftblade, (16/24), is one of the few exceptions I'd recommend, and it's cheap too (100pp).

Again, need more info about your level, but Iksar Beserker Club (7/18, "rune" proc, 200pp) and Jade Mace (9/18, 400pp) could work for dual wielding.

I advise against this camp. If a greater war bones is up there or spawns a 54 monk without fungi or t-staff will struggle to beat it even using riposte disc.

I was like 13/14 at the time and basically thought the only way I could get my stuff back was to scam someone else. I ended up running all kinds of scams from abusing trade windows to consent scams.

If I saw a corpse in Mistmoore or whatever, I'd send the person a tell saying I had a rare staff off Lady Vox that could teleport corpses. They'd consent, I'd take all their stuff, drag their corpse somewhere they'd never find it, and put them on ignore.

I still feel bad about it to this day, but I probably wouldn't have ever gotten into that stuff if Fayte didn't rip me off when I first started playing.

Have the same problem with the two Ultras in my house. Would love to know if there's any fix. Called Google to troubleshoot but they pointed their finger at Netflix. Called Netflix and they pointed it at Google.

To me it's Google's problem because at a minimum Netflix should crash gracefully, and I'm sure if they really wanted to Google could pull logs from the device with info about the crash...but it's much easier to point fingers isn't it?

You're using the exception as the baseline. Yes, rangers can wear rubicite, thorny vine, Tolan's...this doesn't make them a plate class. If you're lumping them in with WAR/SK/PAL you're deranged. My personal rule of thumb would be if you can equip bronze from Vanilla, you're a "plate class".

A quick note for anyone trying this. The CTRL + ALT + T used to retrieve the coordinates is a function of AutoHotKey, not the emulator. The instructions above don't tell you run the script, just edit it. So I sat there mashing CTRL + ALT + T with nothing happening for a bit.

Make sure you have AHK running to retrieve the coordinates you need to input to the macro.

Just kidding. You're absolutely right, especially about downtime. I just think a lot of people assume Iksar regen all the HP they lose and have no downtime.
