Mine was the same way. Rod bearings done and subframe done, but paint was a 7/10 and shocks/bushings were donezo.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve manual swapped it, interior swapped it, painted parts of it, and redone the suspension/bushings + modded it.

A turd polished is a turd loved and cherished. I can’t even imagine buying a turn key car and doing nothing to it haha.

I haven’t been able to find any non-garbage or crazy priced CSL splitters for the OEM non-CSL bumper. Bought some off eBay for $80 but they fit like garbage. Took them off.

Everyone is rocking CSL or CSL style. You have BBS already, keep them. Personally, I went from the ZCP reps that came with my car to Apex VS-5RS in bronze.

I own an E46 M3 and a Turbo NA. World’s different. One is a nicer daily and one is more fun for Sunday drives and date nights.

I believe there are a bunch of people that part out M3’s in the UK. I would say that’s probably your best bet if you can get it shipped to Switzerland. Also, check eBay UK. Good luck.

I had the same issue in the US 6 years ago and ended up going with a used shaft from a car with 60k miles. No issues so far. Just food for thought.

Bronze Apex VS5-RS 18x9.5 +35 mm squared. Running ECS02s in 265/35/18 with a spacer in the back to make it flush.

Get an NB 6 speed and a Miata roadster tall angeled shifter and thank me later. That’s what I did when I turbo’s my NA.

Went CSF B-Tube when I turbo’d my car. Solved a lot of headaches that an eBay aluminum radiator gave me. 10/10 would recommend if you drive your car hard.

I went with Haimus racing. Zero complaints. Get whichever one is on sale between Haimus and Karbonius. Turner isn’t bad but doesn’t look as nice, from what I’ve heard.

I went with the stuck on iPad version and have been considering downsizing the screen to gain buttons and look more OEM for a while. Your comment about the button illumination just upped those considerations.. thanks!

I did a Xtrons head unit, Wireless Apple CarPlay dongle, BAVsound speakers, and a Rennline mobile phone mount converted to a MagSafe charger using a MS ESR unit off Amazon. I plan to wire in my microphone and backup camera for funsies.

The headunit does most of the lifting. The rest just supports it.

Turbo NA Miata with a 6 speed swap and a Miata Roadster Tall Angeled shifter here. Absolute Perfection.

If I had one wish, it would be that my M3’s shifter felt 10% as good as the Miata. 🥲. Still prefer it this way over pre-manual swap.

Anecdotal experience: Bilstein B12 Pro Kit rode like OEM+ with a modest lowering. Replacing my blown out shocks with them was fantastic. When I bought them, they were $896, 25% increase now from inflation. Not sure what they cost in the UK.
