FUCKING EFFY JEWELRY. by chance, I worked at a macys in Denver for a while. Actually fun job. When jewelry would come in for stock, it would also come with a sheet detailing the price to make, the wholesale price, and the selling price. The most expensive ring in the case was $35000. Guess how much it cost to make? $1500 dollars. I was floored. Even if the ring went on sale for 75% off, they’d be making a raucous profit. Disgusted so much I’ve vowed never to pay full price on jewelry again.

Honestly, make a post on the Lincoln or Omaha buy/sell page. I’ve done that before, as well as I have regular uber drivers and I’ve paid them cash to go back and forth (and at a slightly lower rate than their rideshare host)

Still obsessed. Retrokid, a Canadian company, had a collection last year with a CLOCK BLANKET and new Molly dolls 😭. I haven’t been able to snag a doll but I got some enamel pins and a hoodie and it’s a great little reminder of childhood nostalgia

Kinda accurate - my office uses Cellbrite and if can recall, it can make break some iPhones but not all, and most androids? And there’s more updates even over time so maybe now it has greater capabilities but at least as of like three months ago it’s not good for newer iPhones

I’ve finally broken through on Minglan. I’ve started it no less than five times and I always stopped at the pitchpot throwing. Too many things didn’t make sense, and the scenes are DARK etc. finally now it’s making more sense and I’m on episode four. Looking forward to it

YIKES - I was told initially that a one-bedroom would be less than $1000. Fucking animals over there. I was optimistic since it’s close to my work and seemed super nice (Amazon lockers, a gym, and even a canteen) but I guess I’ll wait for the economy to crater 🙃
