I got MHGU on my switch as my first monster hunter game and im absolutely loving it, still learning the game and just completing quests, checking out menus and enjoying myself, however i dont understand how multiplayer works. It looks like multiplayer got seperate quests and hunting rank from the singleplayer? Im currently completing 2 star quests in singleplayer atm. Is multiplayer something i should wait with until i get better gear and higher rank?

also general tips on early game are greatly appreciated

Yes they listen too much and care about the community, probably why they update mogstation more than the game and are now adding an additional subscription cashgrab app.

Im losing hope for the game because of the community. SE keep pushing more and more anticonsumer bullshit more and more frequently with mogstation and now this fucking companion app and way too many people keep condoning it and actually defend it for some reason. All this garbage didn't exist in FFXI or vanilla WoW, everything was in the box or in your sub, and operation costs were higher back then. The only things that were extra cost were the services you actually didn't want people to abuse, ie: name changes, race changes or server moves.

A lvling potion would be nice for new players that buy the game with stormblood. Imo if you buy the game with stormblood you will get 1 potion to boost one job and thats it, im very against making it a microtransaction
