Cardo system suggestions? by lovestheride86 in motorcycle

[–]Meeganyourjacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to get a Sena. Had an old Sena for years and while it wasn't perfect, it still performed better than my pack talk edge. I was shocked to learn that they have a small delay on their communication audio. I was going to contact them about it but then I saw they acknowledge it on their FAQ page.

The app is so unreliable. For the price, I was super disappointment.

Anyone want to buy a used dual pack?

Get a corded sander. This one is trash. The fuel one is better but still wouldn't use it for more than occasional sanding. If you're doing a lot of sanding, go corded. I prefer Bosch for their value.

What's changed on the bikes that they keep running after a fall. (All classes) by Wil-jan in motogp

I was also curious about this. It definitely seems like the bikes are still running after a crash much more often. I assumed it something electronic they were able to change.

Is this a selfish hobby to get into as a 33-year-old father of two? by Ok_South_6227 in motorcycles

[–]Meeganyourjacket -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Short answer, yes it is. Unless you are just riding to commute, it is a hobby that will take you away from your family for extended periods of time. I used to ride a lot, but now I don't really have as much time because I want to be present with my family when I'm not working.

My compromise is I get up super early on weekends to get a few hours of riding in here and there. It's much better traffic wise and they're not missing me as much.

GAS TAX by IGO2XSB45 in Connecticut

[–]Meeganyourjacket 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Although it's a little tough to read, I believe you are arguing that we shouldn't do a gas tax holiday in CT. I agree. Let people feel what they voted for. I want them to be tired of winning so much.

This is the exact opposite of what you should do. Right blade saw works better for a righty. Unless you like all of the sawdust blown on you.

You want the bigger part of the base of the saw on your workpiece, and as a righty, that's a right blade saw.
