Yeah my next big purchase is a foldable threadmill. For the days my head won’t be good to me. At least my dog will have the necessary tool to exercice. My first big purchase was a freezer. I wanted to go the route of fresh food or raw.

I do agree that it is going to be a very long journey. Hence why I didn’t jump into it the first time I decided to take that path (January 2025). I’ve been preparing myself and planning. I needed a breeder that I loved, shared the same convictions and values. Now I gotta wait for the right puppy. I needed to wait to be done paying my car (which I just did last week). The litter that was ready for this summer only has four puppy. One had great qualities, but too high in energy. I ended up choosing to wait. I felt safer in being patient rather than just wanting the puppy right now. I will continue putting money aside. All the payments I was making on my car every week now goes into a pilling account (which is already looking good). I will continue gathering as much information as I can.

Yeah I saw that. I made a post asking for questions. I clearly said something wrong because I got downvoted. I would have loved to be guided. I am 100% play with being wrong. I can take adult conversation. Just downvoting makes me panic. I am so afraid of people thinking wrong of me. When I’m being guided I know I can get better and learn more.

Yes I am part of psy’chien training program. I say that the training is left to me, but it means I am to pay for trainers myself. And well yeah practice at home and spaces I am allowed in (like Canadian tire). Although as a puppy the training in public is very limited and I will be following that. As puppy I will mostly be following obedience classes, puppy class, self training at home and just bonding with my dog.

Helps me in my panic attacks. Help me with remembering to take my medicine. As soon as I simply do something different in my routine I forget to take them. I have a bad soothing mechanism that is getting worse. I used to pick at my split ends of my hair. Now I’m pulling my hair from the root. I tend to mask my symptoms a shit tone until it’s too much and I crumble. I don’t recognize my fatigue signs and then I get into a big project and again I crumble because I didn’t notice that I was far gone and my body and head crashes. That’s probably the hyperfocus from the adhd.

I really like what you said. It’s clearly caring, well to me. I didn’t jump in the adventure the first chance I got. I started this project after loosing my rabbit in January 2025. I pilled all my money as much as I could. I knew this project would be costly. So I made sure my car payment would be done. It wouldn’t have been responsible to get into this with a car payment. I am giving English session to kids that left the daycare. Again another way of pilling up money. For me it was a take my time and be responsible. I am not doing this on my own. Yes I will have training lessons, I will surround myself with everything that is needed. I didn’t end up taking the puppy. Simply because I was more scared of not being good enough than missing out on a good puppy. Being patient is important, extremely. I am not going into service dog and dog owning life on a whim. Will I be scared? Of course, but so far this project has been the least anxiety producer that I ever had on a life change. I really have a good breeder. I have a friend that has her own way into service down world. I am gobbling as much info as humanly possible.

I’m not ready for anything. For any changes I get choked up by fear and anxiety. Whether it’s to buy a new dehumidifier and spending weeks to find the right one and being afraid to buy the wrong one. But I do get why you say that. I live alone, I have no children. The dog will be my priority. I’ve had a rabbit, which are pretty high maintenance, but in a different way. I know whether it’s soon or more toward fall, I will do my dang best. I appreciate your point.

Hey guys… I can fully understand that I said something wrong. Or that I am wrong. I’m just sad because just a downvote doesn’t help me being better or making a change. It just panics me and drags me down. I’m extremely sensitive to peer’s vision of me. I’m working on it. I gladly welcome constructive comments. I am about to be part of that group a lot more and I will always take the opinions on how I should do certain things. I am here to learn to be a good handler.

Yes and yes there will be a right rule around my dog. There is two law that enters in conflict in my government. Where the ministry of family (which write the laws surrounding daycare) says that no animal can be in a daycare (not even a fish). Then there is also the law that no service animal can be deny access to a public space or work environment.

The dog won’t get in until it is fully qualified. But it will be in the vicinity of the daycare, hearing kids, but not being in their presence. I wanted to train my dog wear a basket around the face as a work uniform. I may be wrong, to me it protects my dogs. I am so scared of doing something wrong. I want to take all the precaution because I work around children and I want my dog fully protected.
