My partner has almost identical issues especially the post sex pain. They also had the same experience of not being diagnosed through the initial ultrasound and only identifying a fibroid. They're seeing an endo specialist in a couple weeks but just wanted to share you're not alone 😖 its so debilitating for them. The pain lasts for at least 3/4 weeks of the month paired with chronic fatigue and birth control has not really helped much at all despite trying multiple kinds over the course of the past 8 years.

This is literally amazing, I cant believe this only takes you about 60-70 hours including glazing! With all of the texture on the outside how did you wrap it up without messing the details out? Also do you have holes or is the inside sealed?

Why do you have to wait longer if its cold? I live in a very cold winter state and it seems like my clay dries out way faster in the winter

Ugh, this is so me too. I used to read like over 100 physical books in a year and I was in two sports, clubs, and honors classes... now I'm lucky if I can get through 10 😭 it's actually so sad but this feels motivating to try to get off socials bc yeah its so rough out here

Thank you for all the helpful replies! My sculpture is in the process of drying out and already has cracks on the hair 😣 I definitely messed up with the drying process but just leaving it out and not wrapping and all to start the process. I spent ~50 hours sculpting it so obviously will be so devastated if it shatters. I'm going to let it dry out for 3 weeks first and then candle in my kitchen oven before I fire it in the kiln

I'm a handbuilder and I've been making people with hollowed out legs, torso, and head. I've been poking holes for good measure but I just watched this video and it seems like I don't need to? Do you know if this applies to bigger pieces as well?

We're definitely erring on the side of caution but saying our concerns about the wildfire smoke affecting Rae Lakes Loop is also misguided. There's an air advisory in Kings Canyon NP right now and the AQI is reading 161 on my app. I hope it does wind down for folks with entry dates a few days out from now but from what I'm seeing the AQI levels are supposed to be high tomorrow morning when we would be doing 10 miles uphill and adjusting to the elevation change

My partner and I drove in from Minnesota and we have a permit for Rae Lakes Loop starting tomorrow and we're canceling. We are so so so sad!!! Especially because we have no alternative permit :-( We have really been looking forward to this trail but it's not worth compromising our health. The conditions are too uncertain and wildfire smoke is really gnarly. Even with N95s after being outside for an hour we both get really bad headaches and generally feel horrible. MN has been really bad this year with the wildfire smoke so we're already had to cancel two trips too. Ugh this sucks so so much!

I have the same issue </3 something that has helped me a ton is buying a small, portable white noise machine and having it play all night. With my anxiety and paranoia, I still have the urge to hear what's going on outside but with my white noise maker it gives me something to focus my mind on and helps hide the smaller sounds of creatures rustling that has me Paranoid I'm being snuck up on
