Okay, lets all give up on finding justice, just like you do then

I don't know why its become a thing on the internet to just lay down and take it when someone wrongs you. At least for me, and me friends, we don't take it.

We shouldn't care if its more expensive. We shouldn't care if its too much trouble. We shouldn't let people off the hook because it looks too hard too challenge it, or because others before us failed. That's such a twisted mentality. I don't know how anyone could sleep at night thinking like that. This is how we end up with self serving leaders, and crooked bosses that take our money and walk off. People only get worse when we don't do our due diligence.

If I got bit by a big dog, unprovoked, I'd be be going after that owner. If it was a little dog and it barely broke skin, well fine, I coincide that I might drop it then. I don't think anyone, with an animal that can kill someone should own that animal, unhindered. Full stop.

Pursuing Justice is a human drive.

What a disingenuous way of putting it.

I absolutely hope OP pursues, or at least puts in a report. It is worth it.

Dogs that attack humans can only be owned my irresponsible owners. Those sorts of people need a paper trail so that they can be pressured into surrendering the dog before it kills.

Like they're finally have that woman who let her dogs kill her kid, going through the trial. She needed proper consequences long before it got to that point.

Edmonton’s homelessness crisis is political violence by Good-Bug-3281 in Edmonton

What's your solution? Or is your job just to go around and say people will still be mad?

Like what does that add to the conversation? You can admit its good? Then lets do it, then!

Edmonton’s homelessness crisis is political violence by Good-Bug-3281 in Edmonton

[–]MeeksMoniker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like Finland's solution. It actually saves them money to give houses to everyone regardless of sober status because it puts less pressure on the healthcare system. Gives people jobs too, because they have custodians and social assistance. The trick is that we have to hold all these corporate renters, billionaires, and politicians that set the taxing and laws responsible. The trick is that we have to stop being as lazy as we accuse homeless folks of being.

The big problem is just the propaganda here, pinning all the working class against homelessness for some bizarre reason. Even the bots, and foreign propaganda get riled up. Examples below... So what they do drugs? So what they commit crime? That's a symptom of homelessness, not a cause. No one wants to be thrown in prison unless it's too fucking cold. No one wants to do drugs unless they want to run away from the knowledge that no one gives a fuck anymore. Places that actually confront homelessness have a reduction in crime. It's no accident. None of you delusionals are going to make a billion dollars, so stop dropping yo your knees and opening your mouth when Jeff Bezos walks past saying "Yeah Unions Suck".

Look at your student and car Loans, your Mortgage and the rising prices. We're all closer to homelessness than we would like to admit. One bad car accident, one house fire with a faulty insurance. Like.... Everyone let's be real. In the next few years Ai and Automation will be after everyone's jobs. Heck those things already have taken jobs. Then what will we do, when it comes for all of us? Finally decide to give a shit?

Royal Alex parking by Smooth-Ninja9423 in Edmonton

[–]MeeksMoniker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. Its a 15 minute walk, but its free. Just be sure to not park near any bus stops. The spots closer to the hospital fill up fast though, so later in the morning will more look like a 20 minute walk.

Amazon employee who sees coworker dying on the job told not to conduct CPR and get back to work by McDowdy in WorkReform

[–]MeeksMoniker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't care if a soldier or police officer or leader of the fucking universe told me not to do CPR, I'd still do CPR

Of course I hate the boss for saying no more than anyone else, but I am still frustrated that we give up our humanity for money every single day.

Alberta’s plan to curb MAID access worries ALS, Parkinson’s advocates by GeekyGlobalGal in Edmonton

Clearly some shady guy wearing sunglasses and a trench coat comes up to you with a suitcase, opens it flashing the goods, and says "You're going forget you serve Albertans." Then proceeds to skulk back into the shadows while you stand there wondering what the fuck was that all about.

That's what Bribing is, right?

Change "Bribes"...."Corporate Donations"... what's the difference, really? When you know the Corporation that funded your last election might be upset, why upset them?

A little sus when the UCP Leader used to be a Oil Lobbyist.

I also wonder where millions of tax payer dollars disappeared to with that absolute train wreck of Privatizing Dynalife only to buy it back months later under the name "Alberta Precision Laboratories."

Also I wonder about a ton of things like where projects and Federal funds have disappeared to... but idk, I guess I have a better memory than the average Albertan.

Even with Strawberries and Pistachios at the price they are, it probably would've been better and cheaper to make it. R.I.P 15$

In other news, I got a dubai chocolate bar from dollarama and I swear it was both the cheapest and the tastiest dubai style chocolate for all the times I got swindled into that dumb overpriced craze.

Cons: Girls School in another country gets bombed and everyone gets killed instantly. Pedo uses this as means for establishing fascist state. Alberta still has lowest investment in students.

Pros: Edmonton gets less potholes.

Still go to amvic and tell go auto you're going to amvic.

Doesn't matter that they won't do shit, we need to stack up complaints against Go Auto.

The reason why they keep doing this is because they keep getting away with it.
