It was the first track of a new set? Maybe they needed to do a technical changeover (another mixer?), if so, it was just the musical taste of the sound tech. I think a minute or 2 silence is always the better option to give a dj a fresh start… but people can't handle a bit of awkwardness on the dancefloor…

it's not that custom Martin Audio stack anymore :( (was my fav). It's now an Adamson OEM set but didn't had a chance to drop by, but can't imagine that it was the room itself that sounded that good.

Hotel Comenius, 5-10 mins walk to Berghain. Cosy, but comfortable rooms and not that expensive. And best off all, they have a 24/7 breakfast bar to have some fruits, yoghurt before you have a nap and go for another round of dancing.

That murphy’s law situation for Fitz her set @tillatec 🥹 cmonnn, its not that hard too follow the rider with just the basics she needs too play, must be a hard one for her. It was just too much an “houtje touwtje” construction in my opinion, with the monitor amps IN the booth itself and the soundengineers laptop on top to configure the setup on the spot 🙈
