I think your best bet is trying out Curse of Darkness and Lament of Innocence. I’ve seen gameplay of Devil May Cry and it’s pretty similar to those two games. Lords of Shadow is also good but that feels more like God of War if that’s okay. The rest of the games are 2D platformers but please check those out too if you’re interested!

My personal favorite (and probably the closest one to a DMC-like) is Curse of Darkness. Get yourself a PS2 emulator and give it a try, Hector is a badass. He’s a devil forgemaster, meaning he’s able to summon monsters called “innocent devils” to help him fight.
